After the goalless draw with Genoa, goalkeeper Marco Silvestri described the game to Udinese TV.
“It was an unusual contest. They defended very well in my opinion, but we need to get over certain fears and negative thoughts that we have which are not helping us perform at our best.
“I think we can calmly get out of this situation by working hard every day. Here in Udine, we have everything we need to do so. We naturally feel a bit of pressure, but we must stay calm and get through this period.
“It was the perfect day to win today in terms of the atmosphere in the stands and our position in the table. Having said that, we didn’t ship any goals and that has to be something to build on in order to progress with composure.”
