Man of the match Jordan Zemura and our vice-captain Jaka Bijol spoke to the media after Saturday's 1-0 win over Lecce, settled by the Zimbabwe international's stunning second-half free kick.
Zemura: “We played really well as a team today. We were determined to get back to winning ways before the international break. I've been working on free kicks in training both this season and last. I got to take one today and it went well.”
Bijol: “After three matches in which we weren't so good in defence – because it's not easy with lots of new players – we performed well today. We played with grit and determination. We need to be solid like that all the time. Jordan scored a lovely goal but we had lots of chances. We're pleased with the win and it was deserved.”
