Welcome, Camara!

The Frenchman is officially an Udinese player

Youth, technique and physicality: this is what new Udinese midfielder Etienne Camara can be expected to bring.

The Frenchman has signed for the club from Huddersfield, penning a contract that will run until 30 June 2027 with an option for a further season.

With his technical and physical qualities (standing 191 cm tall), Camara embodies the profile of the modern midfielder, capable of operating all across the middle, with his versatility and the quality of his left foot.

Born in Noisy le Grande, France, on 30 March 2003, he started his career at Torcy before moving, in 2019, to the youth team of Angers, where spent only a year before being scouted by Huddersfield, who brought him to England.

In the 2020/21 season, at the age of 17, he made his first-team debut in the FA Cup but it was last season that he was able to enjoy a consistent run of games, playing 20 matches in the Championship, one in the FA Cup and one in the League Cup.

Camara was also in the French squad for the Under-20 World Cup.

Bienvenue, Etienne!
