Walace reflected on a big win for Udinese over Juventus by a single goal at Allianz Stadium on Monday evening.
“This is an important victory. We’ve pulled off a big feat against a top side. We achieved this result thanks to our attitude. We went toe to toe with them in the first half. I congratulate all the lads.”
There is little time to savour the win, however, with the midfielder already turning his attention to the clash with Cagliari on Sunday.
“We want to win our next game too. We all know it’ll be a really important match away to Cagliari.”
The Brazilian, who celebrated his 200th appearance in the top five European leagues in style, admitted that he can feel how much he has improved.
“I’ve got better and am learning so much here. I want to help the team and ensure we cover up our weak points.”
