Udinese lost at home on Sunday, with Lazio coming away with a 2-1 win. The visitors only needed one goal per half to get the better of the hosts.
Lazio took the lead in the 12th minute with Luca Pellegrini scoring from a free kick. Udinese fought back in the second half with multiple chances for Sandi Lovric and Roberto Pereyra. The lads’ efforts were rewarded in the 59th minute when Festy Ebosele won a free kick. Lovric kicked the ball into the middle of the area where the ball deflected off Walace and found its way into the net. Unfortunately, the tie was short-lived and Matias Vecino fired a shot into the goal in the 76th minute. Udinese will soon have a chance to make up for this defeat when they face Fiorentina on 14 January.
