Udinese’s next game against Juventus will be the 98th occasion on which the two sides have faced off in Serie A. Juve have won 66 of these matches, Udinese 13, while the rest ended all-square.

If Udinese were to win they would reach the 49-point mark, their highest points total since Serie A 2012/13, in which they picked up 66 points and finished fifth.

No team has accumulated more points than Udinese after scoring goals after the 75th minute this season. They’ve racked up 12, alongside Fiorentina and Napoli.

Only Napoli (17) have scored more headed goals than Juventus (12) in 2022/23, while Udinese stand on 10 for this stat.

Roberto Pereyra is one step away from making his 200th appearance for Udinese. If he provides either a goal or assist against Juventus then he could become the club’s second midfielder to be involved in at least 13 goals in a single Serie A season since the start of the last decade, following in the footsteps of Rodrigo de Paul, who contributed with 17, 13 and 18 goals or assists in 2018/19, 2019/20 and 2020/21 respectively.

Sandi Lovric has been on fire as of late, being involved in goals in three of his last five Serie A matches – one strike and two assists.

Sunday’s game will be only the second time coaches Andrea Sottil and Max Allegri have faced each other on opposing benches. The first occasion was earlier in the season.

Festy Ebosele, Sandi Lovric and Isaac Success are one card away from suspension, while the same goes for Adrien Rabiot for Juventus.
