All of the Udinese players in international action on Monday night tasted victory with their respective national teams.

Jaka Bijol played the full match as Slovenia beat Kazakistan in their crucial final Euro 2024 qualifier. The 2-1 victory sees the Slovene secure second in Group H and a place at next year's tournament. Sandi Lovric was an unused substitute.

Hassane Kamara also got 90 minutes under his belt playing at left-back for Ivory Coast, who defeated Gambia 2-0. The Elephants sit top of World Cup 2026 qualifying Group F with two wins from two.

Elsewhere Thomas Kristensen started and finished the game as Denmark U21 overcame Wales 2-1 in Newport. The three points means the Danes leapfrog the Welsh at the top of Euro 2025 U21 Championship qualifying Group I.

Meanwhile Antonio Tikvic put in a battling display to help Croatia U21 edge Belarus 1-0 in Group G, with the centre-back playing the first half.
