Udinese 1-1 Atalanta

A dominant Udinese fall just short of victory

Udinese head away into the international break with a bitter taste in their mouths, having drawn a game which they dominated.

Brazilian midfielder Walace scored shortly before the half time interval. It capped off a great first half in which they could have already taken the lead from Isaac Success, who saw his penalty hit the post.

Udinese came back out for the second half with the same determination and passion and had numerous other opportunities to seal the match. However, Atalanta snatched a point in injury time through Ederson. Gabriele Cioffi’s players head away for the break with Roma in two weeks’ time in mind.
