At the end of a rollercoaster contest at the Stadio Tardini which Udinese won 3-2, man of the match Florian Thauvin and goalscorer Lorenzo Lucca reflected on a dramatic comeback.
Thauvin: “It’s incredible. We’ve done a wonderful job. We reacted so well as a team in the second half. I'm very pleased about the win and thank all my team-mates. I imagined my start to the season going like this. I’ve worked hard every day to get back to my level. I’m there now and want to keep it up.”
Lucca: “We conceded two sloppy goals in the first half, but we did dominate the match. We didn’t let our heads drop, which is our strength. Now we need to turn our attention to Roma. As for nerves, I just wanted to keep helping the team win games. I’m pleased about all the hard work that the coach and team have put in.”
