Lorenzo Lucca and Florian Thauvin got on the scoresheet as Udinese picked up their first win of the new season.
Here is what they had to say after the game.
"I'm very happy with the team's performance. It was a great game and a great home win, which is the most important thing," said Thauvin.
Commenting on his team-mate, Lucca added: "We try things in training and talk to each other. I thank him for the assist, but it was a great game, we gave the fans at the stadium and the city the joy of a first win of the season. We must continue like this, now we have a great game coming up against Como."
Thauvin continued: "Last year was a difficult campaign. This year we want to change that. We did a good job during our preparations. We want to play football, which is what we did today, and we want to continue like this."
"We managed to take an early lead, then came Thauvin's magnificent goal. After the red card, we were in trouble. We are focused and we have to think immediately about the next match," Lucca said finally.
He concluded with a thank you to the fans who filled the Bluenergy Stadium: "We are happy and proud of the crowd, who waited for us here and gave us so much support. We want to continue like this."
