At the end of the hard-earned draw away to league-leaders Napoli, here’s what Florian Thauvin and man of the match Jurgen Ekkelenkamp had to say:
Thauvin: “We all produced a strong performance and had so many chances. We know Napoli are a top side. We’re pleased with the result and we want to keep this up.
“We worked hard in training every day. We knew we’d have to dig in against Napoli. We had to run hard and that’s what we did. When we had the ball, we had to play with personality and find solutions, which we did well. Jurgen scored a great goal. I’m so happy for him.”
Ekkelenkamp: “I often try that sort of shot in training. I went close against Venezia and the goal finally came today. It’s my first Serie A goal. It’s a wonderful feeling to score at this stadium, so I’m delighted.”
