Speaking after watching Udinese play out a goal-less draw with Cagliari, Andrea Sottil was not surprised by the hosts' approach on home turf: "It was a tough game, I expected it to be like that. We played well in the first half, even if we came under pressure at the end of it.
"In the second half we created chances – it's a pity we didn't score from Lorenzo Lucca's opportunity but we take home a point.
"It's a shame about the injuries to Christian Kabasele and Enzo Ebosse. With the changes I would have liked to do something else. I thought Ebosse could have started, but he came on and heard a noise when going into a challenge. I don't think it's anything serious."
While the match ended 0-0, Sottil underlined that "my idea of football is attacking with many men and getting in on goal not only with the forwards.
"I am always happy not to concede goals. Today we were also lucky at the back, but we had our chances to win the game."
