During the early hours of Friday morning in Europe Alexis Sanchez featured for Chile in their 2026 World Cup qualifier against Argentina, almost a year since his last appearance for the national team. The Nino Maravilla started in the 1-0 defeat and was substituted three minutes from the end.
The next match for Sanchez and the Chilean national team in the qualifiers will be against Bolivia on June 10.
