Kosta Runjaic was interviewed in the wake of his team’s 2-0 home defeat against Genoa:
“We set ourselves back with that red after two minutes – it’s the worst way to start a game against a team who are solid and fight hard for every point.
“Udinese played a well-structured game and had chances to score but our spirit to react was perhaps lacking a bit, in order to try and claw the game back with a man less. I expected more.
“We’ve made too many mistakes in recent games, silly mistakes that we need to work on, while staying calm and becoming more cunning. We need to analyse all of these situations.
“I don’t think that there were many positives from today besides the atmosphere and the fans’ support. We need to discuss things and look ahead to our upcoming fixtures.”
