Udinese head coach Kosta Runjaic shared his thoughts after the game against Torino on Sunday.
“It wasn’t our best match but at least we won a point. Unfortunately, during the first half I wasn’t able to be pitch side. We could’ve played better but a point is better than nothing.
“In the first half, we took advantage of a corner. We were solid. In the second half, especially as we were at home, I think we could’ve played better.
“A draw is fair as we didn’t deserve to win today. However, I’m happy to come away with a point from the last game of the year.
“We could’ve done more to not concede those two goals, but I want to rewatch the match and analyse what went on. Throughout the year, Udinese have had ups and downs.
“I want to thank the fans because they are always by our side, and they pushed us forward today. Now we’ll get to work to make sure 2025 is better than 2024.
“I’m quite happy with what we’ve done so far but there’s always room for improvement. In Serie A you need to fight for each point and push yourself to the limit because there are no easy matches or easy teams.
“I’m happy to see Sanchez back on the pitch but we need to be patient. We’re taking it step by step.”
