Kosta Runjaic was satisfied after watching Udinese pick up a point against Atalanta with a convincing display.
“It was an excellent performance by the team,” the coach began after the 0-0 draw at Bluenergy Stadium. “We controlled the game against one of the best sides in Serie A and it was enjoyable to watch for the fans as both teams battled till the end. It's a good point. I'm happy with the way we played today. Our work will pay off in the long run.
“[Alexis] Sanchez had a great game. You can see how experienced he is by the way moves and knows how to find space. He's not back to his best yet but I'm sure he'll get better and better.
“[Oumar] Solet produced another high-level performance. He's very strong both on the ball and without it. I think he's a top player and he'll only improve with time.
“[Thomas] Kristensen has huge potential but he was held back by a series of physical problems in the first half of the season.”
