“[Jaka] Bijol being sent off was decisive and that’s all I’m going to say. I agree with [Gianluca] Nani.
“I am grateful to Udinese for the opportunity. We’ve taken on many challenges and now we need to focus on the future. We’ve gained experience that we can benefit from.
“Losing today was a shame but the team gave it their all to the very end with ten players on the pitch.
“Now we will take stock to plan the future and we will analyse the challenges awaiting us next year.
“We all know who [Alexis] Sanchez is; he’s a legend who made history at Udinese. Unfortunately he’s suffered some injuries and it hasn’t been easy for him. Today he played from the first minute and he would’ve played more had Bijol not been sent off. He played a solid game.”
