Kosta Runjaic shared his thoughts following Udinese's 1-1 draw away to Empoli on Monday. This is what he had to say:
“We're not happy with the result or with the first 15 minutes and I'm not pleased with some of the refereeing decisions. The penalty? You're lucky Gianluca Nani is not here. Maybe the rules are different in Tuscany to in Venice. There [Christian] Kabasele had a penalty given against him whereas today none was given. Those are the facts.
“Every point we get is important but I need to analyse the performance carefully. We're still a work in progress and we have to keep working away.
“Fielding [Lorenzo] Lucca, [Florian] Thauvin and [Keinan] Davis together was no experiment and it worked. It's something we'd been thinking about for a few weeks. The team was better off for it in the second half.”
