Kosta Runjaic said Udinese's comeback win against Fiorentina was the ideal gift to take back to Udine with Christmas just around the corner.
“I fired the lads up a bit at half time as I wasn't happy with our first-half display,” he explained after the final whistle in Florence.
“It wasn't an easy game to turn around but we believed we could do it and we upped our game. It's three massive points against a great team – a nice Christmas present for us all.
“[Lorenzo] Lucca scored a fine goal and so did [Florian] Thauvin.
“[Alexis] Sanchez missed out on pre-season and is still playing catch-up. He's lacking match fitness and I didn't think this wasn't the right game to throw him back in but I'm sure he'll be a big help for us, hopefully in the near future.
“[Iker] Bravo is a good lad with bundles of energy and he's a great player given his age. He'll get a lot better because he's still at the start of his career.
“There are no easy matches is Serie A but we want to finish the year on a high against Torino. I hope we get a full stadium with all our fans behind us.”
