Read what Kosta Runjaic had to say at his press conference ahead of Saturday's visit to AC Milan.
Team objectives
“Our objective is it finish better than last seeason. We need five points to improve on our tally from last season but we want more than that. If we could get to 50 points, that would be a big step forward, especially looking at Udinese's last 10-11 seasons, but to achieve that we must work hard and stay focused at all times. We have less pressure than other teams but no shortage of motivation.
“Since coming to Italy, I haven't taken any points off Milan yet. They have the second-best defensive record, they went 24 games unbeaten and were second until last week. They'll want to bounce back from losing to Napoli last week, playing in front of their fans. Their minimum target is getting into the Champions League but we have our own targets. Lots of people will be watching at the stadium and on TV and we want to show who we are.”
Zemura and Buksa
“We might have [Jordan] Zemura back for the last three games.
“[Adam] Buksa has improved a lot and hopefully he'll come to Milan with us. I don't know if he'll play but having him with us would already be good. So far he's performed at an average level, partly due to injury problems. It's a shame because he's an ambitious lad who's working really hard to get back on the pitch. He wants to show he's important for the team. He's scored two important goals already and I hope he can help us in the coming games.”
Formation
“I don't want to rule out anything. 3-4-2-1 is a system we could use, as is 3-5-2. We won't play four at the back as we did in the reverse fixture.
“It's good that we have [Keinan] Davis back. We missed him against Como. He's in good form and he'll start tomorrow.”
Milan
“Milan might change formation but it doesn't matter much because they have quality players regardless of the formation and who starts. We're ready and we'll try to play our game and stay focused for 90 minutes, as we did against Como. We mustn't make mistakes that Milan can exploit.
Atta
“[Arthur] Atta has come on in leaps and bounds. Ups and downs are part of the development process. He perhaps attracts less attention now but he played much better against Como than in previous outings. We have no doubt he'll keep getting better but he has to grow one step at a time. It's only his second year here and the process is never linear. We're happy when he expresses his talent because he's a player who can make the difference.”
