“After 14 days of intense training, I saw many good things in our first friendly match, but in some cases there is still room for improvement. Despite the initial 1-0 lead, we conceded a goal that could have been avoided. Such mistakes should not happen, not even when one is tired.”
“We played against very energetic and disciplined opponents; their defenders were very tight and sat deep, which made it hard for us to find good solutions when we were attacking. The next friendly matches will be an opportunity for the players who have not played yet to get their chance on the pitch.”
“Overall, it was a good performance. We’ve gathered some important insights and now, during our pre-season training in Austria, we are going to focus more specifically on our tactics.”
