Nehuen Perez was interviewed after his side claimed an impressive 1-0 away victory at San Siro over Milan. Here’s what he had to say:
“It wasn’t the ideal game in which to get our first win. We’re over the moon for this result – we really needed this. Every player put in a top performance. We need to keep working hard and pushing forward with this approach.
“Prior to tonight we’d been playing well, it’s just that we weren’t getting the results. My team-mates deserve credit for making my role easier. Lazar Samardzic really helped out, as did Walace. As a unit we nullified Rafael Leao.”
