Nine Udinese players have received call-ups from their national teams for the long international break.
Nicolo Zaniolo is back in the Italy squad for the first time in close to two years, with the Azzurri facing four Nations League matches. The same number of Nations League fixtures await James Abankwah (Republic of Ireland), Giorgi Chakvetadze (Georgia), Jesper Karlstrom (Sweden), Sandi Lovric (Slovenia), Lennon Miller (Scotland) and Mergim Vojvoda (Kosovo).
Four of our players could face an Udinese team-mates over the coming week. Abankwah's Republic of Ireland and Vojvoda's Kosovo meet on 24 September. While Lovric's Slovenia and Miller's Scotland have a home and away double-header (26 September and 6 October).
Elsewhere Maduka Okoye's Nigeria will be involved in two Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers while Lazar Jovanovic could feature in up to four friendly matches with Serbia U21s.
