In the build-up to Wednesday's match against Torino, group technical director Gian Luca Nani and Keinan Davis spoke to DAZN.

Nani: “We didn't consider the offer we received for [Arthur] Atta to be a big offer, although we respect any club that offers us money. We don't intend to sell Atta. He's an exceptional player who has to further his development. He has the potential to become another [Jude] Bellingham or [Zinedine] Zidane. He's a top professional and he's available again for this game. We don't plan to sell him. We'll see further down the line but he'll definitely finish the season with us.

“Results are always about getting the balance right between defence and attack. We've had some superb performances against Inter, Napoli and Lazio too, but then we lost others unexpectedly like against Fiorentina. I think it's just a matter of finding the right balance. We have a young team and we're growing. Our first goal is to confirm our top-flight status, then afterwards it's only natural to want to aim higher and that's what we'll try to do. We're happy with our progress: we're in line with our plans but we want to raise the bar.”

Davis: “We need to be more consistent. We're creating a lot in attack but we need to be more clinical. Torino are a good team and they beat Verona 3-0 last time. We must be compact. We're ready.”
