Udinese Calcio is delighted to announce the signing of Bartosz Mrozek on a permanent transfer from Lech Poznan. The Polish goalkeeper has penned a four-year contract until 30 June 2030, with an option for a further season.
A modern, well-built goalkeeper who is good with his feet, Mrozek acquired plenty of domestic and European experience with Lech, with whom he won the Polish league title in each of the last two seasons.
Bartosz was born in Katowice on 23 February 2000 and came through the Lech Poznan academy. He made four appearances for the B team in 2016/17, and a further 16 the following season.
He made his professional debut while on loan at Elana Torun in 2018/19, playing 12 games in Liga II.
Mrozek then spent the 2019/20 season at his hometown club GKS Katowice, appearing 32 times in Liga II and twice in the Polish Cup. In 2020/21 he played another 31 games as GKS Katowice earned promotion to Liga.
After returning to Lech, in the 2021/22 season he turned out for the B team 21 times and made two cup appearances for the first team.
His Ekstraklasa debut came in 2022 when he joined Stal Mielec on loan at the end of the season. The 2022/23 season – again at Stal – was his breakthrough year as he racked up 34 Ekstraklasa appearances.
In the summer of 2023 he returned to Lech Poznan and made the No.1 shirt his own, performing consistently well over 31 league games and one in the UEFA Conference League.
The following season Mrozek remained first-choice keeper (34 appearances) and was named goalkeeper of the season as Lech won the Ekstraklasa title.
In 2025/26 Lech made it back-to-back titles and Bartosz kept ten clean sheets in 33 matches, and played further games in the Champions League (four), Europa League (two) and Conference League (ten).
During his time at Lech Poznan, Mrozek played with Udinese captain Jesper Karlstrom.
Mrozek has been called up to the Poland national team and played for his country at every youth level: U15 (three games), U16 (six), U17 (eight), U18 (four), U19 (one) and U20 (two).
Now he is set for the next stage of his career at Udinese alongside Maduka Okoye, Daniele Padelli and Edoardo Piana.
