After Lazar Jovanovic, Udinese’s new goalkeeper, Bartosz Mrozek, was introduced by managing director Franco Collavino and technical director Gokhan Inler.
Collavino: “Mrozek arrives here with a wealth of experience and skill. He’s already played at an international level and in important competitions. He brings reliability to an already strong section.”
Inler: “Bartosz is an exceptional lad and he’s already becoming a leader. He gave his teammates a lot of confidence yesterday. I’m happy he’s here and I’m sure he’ll give his all for this shirt.”
Mrozek: “I think you’ve already seen the type of goalkeeper I am. I’m agile between the sticks but also good with my feet. I hope you’ll see that in the upcoming games.
“I want to play as many games as possible, but obviously that’s up to the coach. I need to show him in training that I’m deserving of it.”
“The club has proposed an interesting project to me. They convinced me to come here after I’d spoken with the coach and the staff.
“I already knew about Udinese because so many great players have played here, including goalkeepers. I don’t know much about Udine, but now I’m here and I’ll get to know the city.
“I don’t have a specific idol. I look at the top goalkeepers and try to take something from all of them.
“Lech Poznan is one of the biggest clubs in Poland. The mentality that I bring is one of always wanting to aim higher. We’ll see where we end up.”
