After last week's opening-day draw against Como, Udinese picked up their first three points of the season with a hard-fought 3-2 win away to Monza.
Jakub Piotrowski opened the scoring on 32 minutes when he collected a rebound inside the box and coolly picked his spot in the corner, but the joy was short-lived as the home side struck back immediately courtesy of Andrea Colpani's angled finish at the back post.
Kosta Runjaic's side then put themselves back in control with two quick-fire goals on the stroke of time.
First, Hassane Kamara notched his second goal in two games with a scorching effort from outside the box that proved too hot for Demba Thiam to hold onto. Then, just two minutes later, Jurgen Ekkelenkamp fired into the top corner with a superb long-range effort to send us in at the interval with a two-goal cushion.
Udinese had chances to extend their lead after the restart but it was Monza who scored against the run of play shortly after the hour mark when Gustavo Varela headed past Maduka Okoye.
The goal galvanised the home side and they upped the pressure as they chased an equaliser but a combination of Okoye's saves and some solid defending by the Udinese rear guard kept them at bay.
Victory means it's four points from our first two league games going into Wednesday's Coppa Italia tie against Venezia.
