After Giorgi Chatvedatze and Unai Gomez, our third summer signing Mergim Vojvoda was officially unveiled as an Udinese player during the Media Day held in Lienz.
The experienced full-back, who joined from Como, expressed his determination to succeed with Udinese.
“I want to thank everyone for their kind words and I want to repay the club for the faith shown in me by always giving my all. I'm here to help the coach and the club and I want to be as successful as possible.
“We're still at the start and we're working really hard because we need to lay the groundwork. We'll see how far we can go one match at a time. I'm very ambitious and Udinese is a great club and it's only right to have big ambitions, especially in a season where you're celebrating your 130th anniversary

“When I was at Como I saw Udinese as a big club. It's very highly respected throughout Italy. When I joined I saw all the amazing facilities here and I could feel how much the club believed in me – that was a big factor in making the decision to come here.
“I've played in lots of positions in my career – in Belgium I even played in goal for two games!
“I think it's essential to give your full commitment every day and set an example for the younger players. I see so much potential in this squad and that makes me feel confident about the future.”
