Lorenzo Lucca picked up his first goal in Serie A in what was a topsy-turvy 2-2 draw at home to Genoa. Here are his thoughts on the game and his strike:
“It was a bit of a fortuitous goal. I didn’t think too much about it – instinct told me to hit it quickly. It’s a shame because we could’ve won, but at least we got a draw.
“Genoa had two shots on goal, which was the same as Fiorentina had when they took us on. We can’t get too disheartened – we just need to play with desire and get all three points against Empoli.
“I need to use this goal as a springboard. We’re working well in training and I’m feeling calm. We’ve got to stick together and beat Empoli on Friday.”
