Lorenzo Lucca revealed that legendary Udinese striker Antonio Di Natale was the inspiration behind his goal celebration after he scored the opener in Friday's 2-0 win over Cagliari.
“I did the aeroplane because before the match a friend of mine told me to celebrate like Totò Di Natale, so I did,” the 24-year-old explained.
The big man notched his fourth league goal of the campaign having started the game alongside Keinan Davis for the first time.
“Keinan and I complement each other,” Lucca continued. “We can play well together. The whole team was excellent today and Keinan and I both got on the scoresheet.
“We had two number 9s out there. Keinan dropped back more than me but we took it in turns. The boss told us to move around a lot, attack the space and fill the box.
"We have to keep pushing because we have another game on Wednesday. We must remain focused at all times – that's our strength.”
