Sandi Lovric was the guest of honour on Udinese Tonight and gave his thoughts from the team’s training camp in Bad Kleinkirchheim:
“I started out here in Austria. It was a pleasure to come here with my family, it’s where it all began for me. Becoming a pro for Udinese was a dream come true.
“Despite having a great debut season I’m expected to improve both with and without the ball. I scored five times last time out, and as I often find myself in goalscoring situations I want to be more cool-headed when my chance comes. However, the main aim is to help the team – goals and assists are nice, as long as they help us win.
“I’ll play wherever the coach deems fit, but given I’m right-footed if I’m put on the left I can cut in. It means that it’s easier to have the ball on my favoured foot.
“I’m ready to embrace greater responsibility both on and off the pitch, helping out those new arrivals and showing them the ropes.”
