Power, raw talent and an eye for goal – that’s what our new forward is all about. Lorenzo Lucca has joined Udinese on loan from Pisa.

Despite his youth Lucca has already amassed international experience, having spent last season on loan at Ajax.

Born on 10 September 2000 in Moncalieri, province of Turin, he started out playing football at local clubs Torino and Atletico Torino, as well as a season at Chieri, before being picked up by Vicenza and going on to make his first team debut there, featuring three times in Serie C.

2020/21 was his breakthrough season, firing in 14 league goals for Palermo in 27 appearances. This caught the eye of Pisa, where he hit the ground running, firing in six goals in his first seven games as his side came close to Serie A promotion, losing to Monza in the playoffs.

A loan spell at Dutch giants Ajax followed, where he made his Europa League debut and scored twice in 14 matches in the Eredivisie, as well as featuring for the club’s B-team.

In addition, Lucca has also played six times for Italy U21s, claiming two goals in the process.

Welcome to Udinese, Lorenzo!
