Lorenzo Lucca and Lazar Samardzic were the goalscorers as Udinese secured a massive 2-0 win at Lecce – the first time Udinese had scored two goals in a game since the 2-1 victory over Lazio at the Stadio Olimpico on 11 March.

The centre forward's first-half header was his eighth Serie A goal of the campaign, making him the youngest Italian to reach that figure. The last Italian striker to net at least eight goals in his maiden top-flight season was Daniel Ciofani, who struck nine for Frosinone in 2015/16.

The Serbian wrapped up the points with a late second from close range to become the youngest midfielder with at least ten goals in the last two league campaigns. The 22-year-old also had the most chances (four of Udinese's 16) and completed the most key passes (4/10). For the third game running, he was the player to cover the most ground – almost 12 kilometres.

Meanwhile Isaac Success, making his first start since 3 December, completed four dribbles during his 67 minutes on the pitch – at least double that of any other player in action yesterday.

The match lasted over 96 minutes with an effective playing time of 51 minutes. Udinese maintained possession for around 18 minutes, or 35% of the match.
