Following the 2-0 loss at the hands of Juventus, Christian Kabasele shared his thoughts:
“Our attitude today was different compared to the match against Monza. We knew it would be tough to play here, as they’re fighting for a Champions League spot. We struggled in the first half, but were more in the game after the interval. It’s a shame about the goals we conceded.
“It’s been a good season overall, but in football people always remember the final matches and in recent weeks we haven’t done well. It’s unfortunate that this negative feeling lingers after what was still a positive campaign. Now we have to give our all against Fiorentina and finish on a high.
“We can improve what we do in possession. In the first half we gave it away too often. Throughout the season we’ve made small errors that opponents have consistently punished. We’re a good side, but we need to cut down on mistakes and be more clinical in the box. Today we created few chances because we didn’t manage possession well.”
