Gokhan Inler and Kosta Runjaic have shared their thoughts following today's fixture list draw for the 2024/25 Serie A season. Here's what our technical director and head coach had to say...
“We're starting against Bologna, a team playing in the Champions League,” Inler began. “It's a nice way to kick off the season and it will be interesting to see how we measure up. We'll then have two home games in which we'll be looking to do our very best in front of our fans. It's a long season and there's no point looking too far ahead. We must focus on each game as it comes.”
“Our opening game is a great opportunity for us, away to the big surprise package of last season,” Runjaic said. “It's an exciting prospect – as is our second game against Lazio. I can't wait to meet our fans. Overall it's balanced fixture list but there are no easy games in Serie A. We have to focus on our work and lay the foundations in pre-season for a successful campaign.”
