Udinese technical director Gokhan Inler shared his thoughts after Saturday's friendly with Saudi Arabia champions Al Hilal in Wiener Neustadt.
“It was a good game against strong opponents and a decent test for us,” he began.
“I'm pleased with the lads. After a month's training we can already see a change in their playing mentality and their discipline. We could have drawn the game as we had several chances to score but I don't like losing, not even these games.
“This brings an end to our pre-season preparations. We've worked really hard to bond as a team and there's a great atmosphere in the camp.
“From tomorrow we'll focus 100% on the Coppa Italia. It's our first competitive match of the season and we want to get off to a good start in front of our fans.”
