Following Udinese’s 5-1 win over Ask it was French defender Axel Guessand who was asked about his performance and the team’s as a whole. Here’s what he had to say:
“Regarding the assist I provided to Florian Thauvin, he’sa top player and a World Cup winner. He’s had a hard few seasons but he scored a stunner today and I’m sure that’ll be the first of many.
“We played well and I’m happy to have provided an assist. We need to do more with the ball and when defending. I’m happy because while we’re still in the preparation stages of pre-season we played well today.”
