Unai Gomez spoke to the Udinese YouTube channel after Wednesday's Coppa Italia win over Venezia. This is what he had to say:
“The start of the game wasn't easy with us us conceding that goal but the work we've been doing together helped us manage the game and get back into it. We've been working well in training. I'm happy with the result and our overall performance.
“I'm getting used to the city, the team and what the coach wants from me. I want to play and improve my statistics. I'm trying to score and I'm also trying to work when we don't have the ball too as the coach asks me to do.”
