Festy makes Ireland debut, Bijol plays 90 minutes

Five Udinese players turned out for their national teams on Thursday.
 
It was a night to remember for Festy Ebosele as he earned his first senior cap for Ireland. The Udinese wingback came on in the 84th minute of the Euro 2024 qualifying match against France. Les Bleus ran out 2-0 winners.
 
Jaka Bijol played the full 90 minutes in Slovenia’s 4-2 victory over Northern Ireland, making his mark with some decisive interventions. Sandi Lovric meanwhile made an appearance as a 90th-minute substitute.
 
A couple of Udinese starlets featured in international youth matches. 
 
Newcomer Thomas Kristensen retained his starting position at right-back in the Denmark U21 team in their 4-1 friendly defeat against France. 
 
Elsewhere Vivaldo Semedo played over 30 minutes for the Portuguese U19 team in their 3-2 win over Kazakhstan.
