Festy Ebosele was full of positives after turning in an impressive display in Udinese's 2-1 win against Al Rayyan.
The 21-year-old showed he can be an another string in Andrea Sottil's bow, making a number of runs up the pitch as well as a goal-saving intervention.
“It went well today,” the right-back reflected after the game on Friday evening. “It was an excellent test for us. I'm happy with the win and so is the rest of the team.”
The Irishman also commented on the team's preparations in Austria.
“Andrea Sottil is very demanding but we know it's what is best for the team. I feel good and we're ready for the new season.”
