Daniele Doveri will be the man in the middle when Cagliari host Udinese in Serie A Week 4 on Sunday.

The international referee is one of Italy's experienced match officials, having overseen 212 Serie A fixtures to date.

He has been in charge of 21 previous matches involving Udinese, with five wins, eight draws and eight defeats.

The most recent occasion was Udinese 3-1 AC Milan in March this year.

He has officiated 22 Cagliari games, with the islanders winning six, drawing seven and losing nine.

The VAR will be Lorenzo Maggioni, who has never been involved in a Udinese fixture before.

He was at the monitor for Cagliari 2-0 Cosenza in Serie B last season – his only previous involvement with the Rossoblu.
