After the 2-0 whistle against Cagliari, the scorer of the second goal and man of the match Keinan Davis spoke to the media alongside Hassane Kamara, who set up the opener for Lorenzo Lucca.
Davis: “I'm happy to do my bit for the team. It is a relief because I did feel a bit of pressure to score. I know I'm an important player for the team. I had lots of problems last year so I want to show what I'm worth.”
Kamara: “We worked on that sort of move in training. Lucca told me to cross the ball that way and I took inspiration from Florian [Thauvin]. We're happy but we must keep looking forward.
“Lucca and Davis worked well together because Keinan comes short to receive the ball and when we don't have other options we can play it to him and push up. When Flo returns, we'll see some great things with Lucca and Davis.
“We mustn't get carried away. First we need to get 35-37 points and then we can aim higher. We have to keep working hard. We have another game on Wednesday then on Saturday again.”
