His professional career took off in 2023 when he scored seven goals in 22 league matches and made a further eight appearances in the Copa Libertadores and Sudamericana and seven in the Copa Cile.
In 2024 he scored five goals in 13 Primera Division appearances and turned out seven times in the Copa Libertadores.
Damian made his senior Chile debut on 17 November 2023, aged 18, playing the full 90 minutes in a 0-0 draw against Paraguay in a World Cup qualifying match.
