During the international break in late September, Udinese will travel to Poland to support a noble cause.

On Saturday 26 September at 17:30 CEST the Zebrette will play a friendly match against Pogon Szczecin. This game has been organised to support Robert Dymkowski - a former Pogon player and coach - who was diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis in 2023. Pogon launched the event under the slogan ‘All of Pogon plays for Dymka’, and the majority of the proceeds from the match will be donated to support Dymkowski’s ongoing medical care.

Pogon Szczecin compete in the Ekstraklasa, Poland's top division. In recent seasons, the team has established itself in the upper echelons of the league standings, qualifying for the Conference League three times. The man behind the start of Pogon’s successful spell is none other than the current Udinese head coach, Kosta Runjaic. He managed the Polish club from 2017 to 2022, leaving a lasting positive impression, and played a key role in making this charity match possible.
