Following Udinese’s friendly against Shabab Al-Ahli, goalscorer Adam Buksa shared his thoughts with the club’s YouTube channel.
“We’re gutted for losing the game. Losing is never nice, but we’re in a pre-season camp and we need to prepare well for the upcoming season. We’re trying to play a bit differently compared to the last campaign, so we’re going through a growing process. We’ll be ready for the start of the league season. I’m happy for getting on the scoresheet and I want to keep this momentum going.
“We’re putting in some hard graft, but that’s what you have to do in order to be prepared. This work will be crucial for the competitive matches which are coming up in less than a month.
“I enjoy being part of this group and wearing this jersey. I’m happy and can’t wait for the Serie A season to start.”
