Bijol: "The goals will come"

The defender was disappointed with just a draw against Frosinone

Jaka Bijol made no attempt to hide his dissatisfaction after Udinese were held to a goalless draw by Frosinone.

“It's never a good game when we don't win,” he began. “We wanted to win but that's football. Now we'll knuckle down and prepare for the next one

“We expected Frosinone to be that aggressive – they won Serie B last term and not by chance. We started off well in the first 10 minutes then we misplaced a few passes and that put us on edge.

“It's a shame we couldn't score but there's quality in this team and the goals will come.

A year after joining the club himself, the 24-year-old says he's now ready to teach the new signings the ropes.

“I want to help the newcomers settle in. It's not easy for them. We've made a lot of changes to personnel this season and you can't expect them to turn it on after a couple of matches. It takes time to bed into a new team.”
