Nicolo Bertola said Udinese were good value for the three points after Saturday's win over Atalanta.
Speaking following the final whistle, the 22-year-old said: “We're really happy. It was a great performance and the result is a consequence of that. Now we have to keep working.
"This is a top-level team and it's the same in defence. We have lots of youngsters like myself, but we also have experienced players like [Oumar] Solet and [Christian] Kabasele and I try to learn from them. I work hard in training so that I'm ready to play.
“I think I played well today and I hope I helped the team. [Matteo] Palma did really well too – it's not easy to come on late in a match like that. We must keep working so that we can do even better.
“We don't feel people underestimate us. There are big expectations. We want to do even better. Obviously you're not happy when you lose but we're learning from every game. We learnt a lot from the defeat in Turin but we also gained belief in our potential. We have to keep it up.
“[Nicolo] Zaniolo is a fantastic player and we're counting on him. Hopefully he can keep leading us.”
