Lega Serie A made the draw for Italy’s senior teams for the Serie A and also did the same for the Primavera sides. Udinese have been paired with Benevento, who finished eighth in Group B of Primavera 2 last season. The round of 32 match will take place on October 29 in Udine.
In the event that the scores are level at the end of 90 minutes the match will go straight to penalties. Should Udinese progress they would face the winner of the match between whoever Monza end up playing out of Cittadella, Monopoli, Venezia or Catanzaro.
