As part of its long-standing tradition, Udinese Calcio visited La Nostra Famiglia, the benchmark facility in Pasian di Prato for the treatment and care of children with disabilities. The club has been supporting La Nostra Famiglia for years now through its non-profit organisation, Udinese per la Vita.
The Udinese delegation, which included Magda Pozzo, Nicolo Bertola, Kingsley Ehizibue, Sandi Lovric and some wives and partners of Udinese players, met with the children and the professionals from the classrooms and departments of the facility, bringing joy and gifts to the children there.
Over the years, the Udinese per la Vita non-profit organisation – which supports hospitals, care facilities and community projects, by promoting social initiatives that help make Udinese Calcio the most sustainable in Italy – has provided tangible support to La Nostra Famiglia, by donating specialised equipment, funding the construction of the facility’s access road and participating in the inauguration of its new research centre, which was created thanks to Udinese’s support.
“This event, which by now has become a tradition, is always special for us,” said Magda Pozzo. “We are aware of the social role we play in the area we operate in, and we want to help the community. Our Udinese per la Vita non-profit organisation plays a key role in this: it has been supporting organisations like La Nostra Famiglia for over 25 years. As always, we like to involve our players and their partners too, because we want to create an even warmer family atmosphere.”
