Udine, 16 July 2024 – Udinese’s 2024/25 home kit has been unveiled in the enchanting setting of the Hotel Columbus rooftop in Lignano Sabbiadoro, thanks to the partnership between Udinese and PromoTurismoFVG.
The new Udinese Calcio home kit is characterised by its nod to the past combined with technical innovation and graphic details. The club’s traditional black and white vertical stripes return, reminiscent of the kit worn in the 1995/96 season, the first of 30 consecutive seasons in the top flight, celebrating a special milestone: 30 consecutive championships in Serie A. Currently, only Inter, Lazio, AC Milan and Roma can boast as long a streak.
The new Udinese Calcio home kit for 2024/25 features a black polo collar with a gold-edged trim. The jersey is black and white with three vertical black stripes, two on the sides extending on to the sleeves and one in the centre. The black stripes have a fine vertical black line on the right side, while the fabric has a fine oblique striped geometric pattern in a tone-on-tone sublimated print. The design is inspired by the kit worn in 1995/96, when Alberto Zaccheroni was tasked with leading the team and it saw the arrival of German striker Oliver Bierhoff. The back neck is personalised with the gold inscription “30 E LODE” (an Italian academic equivalent to 30/30) to celebrate Udinese’s 30th consecutive season in Serie A, a dedication to the entire Udinese community that has been so instrumental in achieving this milestone. Another important graphic detail is on the inside of the neck, where a black and white label with the club’s logo, the phrase “I PRIMI BIANCONERI D’ITALIA” (the first black and whites in Italy) the Macron logo and the inscription "Designed in Bologna" appear, certifying that each garment is imagined, designed and developed on the Macron Campus. On the chest, in black silicone, is the Macron Hero, and to the left, also in silicone, is the Udinese Calcio crest.
Names and numbers are in black with a gold outline and the eagle of Friuli appears in gold on the numbers.
The new home kit is completed with black basketball-style shorts with white stripes and white socks with a gold band at the top and a central black band followed by the inscription UDINESE 1896.
As with all technical garments produced by Macron for its clubs, the kit is made entirely from Eco Fabric, a 100% polyester material derived from post-consumer plastic recycling. Specifically, the fabric used for the shirt is Eco Exalock, with a back panel made of Eco Micromesh and inserts in Eco Mesh, ensuring lightness and perfect breathability.
The new Udinese Calcio home kit is available for purchase at the Macron Sports Hub at Bluenergy Stadium, online at the club’s new and revamped store, which is operational as of this evening, and in the dedicated section on macron.com, where the entire line of clothing created by Macron for the club can be found.
